My New [Vintage] Singer Sewing Machine

I am super excited to introduce the newest addition to my crafting supplies. My grandma's vintage Singer  sewing machine!

It's an amazing shade of teal and in really good condition minus a few scratches on the hood. It just needs a little cleaning and it will be good to go!

I have been slowly fine tuning my sewing skills but the only time I could practice was back home at my parents' house where I could use my Mom's sewing machine. I would love to be able to make some throw pillows for my living room and fix up a few wardrobe pieces that are just a hair too big. I can't wait to start using it and possibly add a few new items to my Etsy shop!

Now I just need to find the perfect name for her. One of my odd quirks is that I must name everything. I named my car as well as most inanimate objects I use daily so a name for my new sewing machine is a must. If you haven't read about my printer, Alfred, you can here. So, if you have any ideas or suggestions on a clever name for her, leave a comment! I'm leaning towards Trudy for some reason. It just feels vintage to me.

P.S. I finished all my projects! I'm officially done with school except for three final exams!
