another month gone in a flash

I can't believe tomorrow is April! I say this every month but this one really snuck up on me! April. Geesh. That means only a month until my birthday and only a month left in this semester! I need to get on top of projects, finalize some exciting news that I'll share tomorrow, and get my license renewed sometime this month! But before I start stressing about all that, let's look at my photos from March, take a look back on how I did with my March goals, AND announce a winner for the Scissor Quirk giveaway... Phew!

A few of my favorites from this month... [1] being the number one up and coming craft blog on Bloglovin. Now I'm number 12 over all!!! [3] wearing my green shirt on green beer day [12] another trip to Bill's Donuts. Yum [16] the sun finally made an appearance this year! [18] shaken iced tea lemonades on the way to Friday class [19] my bike came! [25] went to see Suckerpunch. Awesome movie... what are your favorites?

Now for those March goals...

find time to work out. I've been able to go on a few runs lately and as you know, I recently got my bike so I'm biking a lot. I feel really good about biking. I can feel my legs getting stronger and I just feel like I'm doing something good for the environment. I also recently got a set of free weights. Can't make it to the gym? Bring the gym to you! I'm hoping to strengthen up my arms. I'm not afraid to admit they are puny :]

use my planner. Eh. it's a work in progress. But I have been writing in it for long term projects. The problem is remembering to get it out and write down small homework/reading assignments. As a design student, I'm not used to short term projects. But with only a year left in school you'd hope I'd figure it out by now!

be more vocal in the blog world. I think I've done a pretty good job with this but there's always room for improvement. I try and comment on everyone's blog but I definitely could do it more.

break 200 followers. Honestly, I didn't think I'd meet this goal. But, thanks to you lovely readers, I did it! I am very excited about it too. I think I'm done for now with making it a goal to gain more followers. I need to relax and focus on keeping my content interesting and fun rather than worry about how many followers I have. They'll come eventually :] What I might do, however, is set a "reward" of sorts for when I hit 300 followers. Any ideas on what it should be? Maybe a big giveaway hosted by yours truly? A blog party? I'm not sure and am definitely open for suggestions! Let me know!

And now for the winner of the Scissor Quirk Tutorial and Giveaway...

Congratulations
