Cristina from Craftee here. I’ve always found blogging a little bit overwhelming. I find that I have so many things in my head but when it comes time to write I just never know where to start.
When I started my blog Craftee – I just wrote a whole bunch of random topics and nothing really seemed to flow or come to me naturally. A few months later I realized if I had just come up with a list of things I enjoyed writing about and put them together in a schedule, my life would be so much easier!
Before you download my little blog schedule print out – consider a few things…
1. What topics do you enjoy reading about on other people’s blogs?
2. What topics do you really enjoy writing about or even talking about?
3. What topics do you feel aren’t really covered anywhere online that you could potentially write about?
I started with a list of about 30 different things I wanted to write about/knew I could write about and put them into a weekly blog schedule.
Rather than choosing just ONE topic a day, I chose about 3-4 so that I could either write 3-4 blog posts a day, or just choose one topic that I felt like writing about on that day. I think weekly features are a great thing to have on a blog, but don’t write yourself into a corner. After a few months you’ll probably get bored of the topic so it’s good to insert a little something different.
Now that you’ve read my tips – download the weekly blog schedule template (I created it in word so that you could fill in the blanks easily) and organize your blogging!

Thanks so much Cristina! Keeping a blog schedule is the only way I'm able to keep up with school, work, and post 6-8 times a week. I definitely think more people should do it!
